Former Cedar Realty COO Nancy Mozzachio Files Charges Against Current CEO
Ex CEO of Cedar Realty Nancy H Mozzachio filed a lawsuit against the company’s current CEO Bruce Schanzer for the charges of pay discrimination and sexual harassment. CEO Schanzer also called former COO Nancy “babe” and has made a few side comments about her breasts. Nancy also shared an experience she had with the current CEO Schanzer wherein she was drinking a coffee from Dunkin Donuts where he made a an awful remark about bringing some Double Ds to the workplace. Also, the current CEO Schanzer is said to be giving out uncalled for hugs at work.
Nancy was then fired from the company as COO after the lawsuit has been filed. She was supposed to have a meeting but it was canceled and after she was fired as Chief Operating Officer.
It was in the year 2015 when an outside investigator decided to open up the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty started probing on the said allegations. Nancy claimed that the charges from the female employees of the said company was never investigated. There was even one employee that reportedly went to Wall Street Journal to share her experience about Schanzer asking about the color of her underwear. For those complainants to keep their mouth shut, Cedar Realty has made a decision to pay them for the damages Schanzer has made.

Based on the allegations she has made about pay disparity, she is only receiving a small bonus incentive and a lower salary as Chief Operating Officer rather than the Chief Financial Officer and she expressed how unfair that is on her part knowing she should have the bigger pay. The said company has pleaded no guilty on the charges and after the investigation process made, the charges have not been approved and has been identified as no merit.
